Bangladesh Records Two More COVID-19 Deaths

Dhaka: Bangladesh yesterday recorded two new COVID-19 deaths during the past 24 hours, taking the overall death toll to 29,502 since the pandemic began.

According to Nam News Network, the country recorded its first COVID-19 fatality this year on June 5, when a man succumbed to the infectious disease in the capital, Dhaka.

In addition to the recent fatalities, Bangladesh also reported 15 new COVID-19 cases, with the daily test positivity rate increasing to 8.62 percent in the 24 hours until 8:00 a.m. local time yesterday.
