Atiqur Rahman Atique, president of Bangladesh Government Primary School Teachers Association Central Committee, died of a cardiac arrest at a hospital in Dhaka last night.
He was 53.
Atique left behind his wife, two sons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
He was an assistant teacher of Poyla Government Primary School under Shibalaya upazila of Manikganj district and elected President of Bangladesh Government Primary School Teachers Association.
He was buried at South Teota graveyard here following a namaz-e-janaza today.
