Dhaka: Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) today forecasted rain in different parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing from 9 am. In its regular weather bulletin issued today, the BMD said “Rain/thunder showers, accompanied by temporary gusty wind, is likely to occur at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna, and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Barishal and Chattogram divisions.”
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the BMD also indicated that the day temperature may fall slightly while the night temperature may remain nearly unchanged across the country. The highest temperature on Wednesday was recorded at 33.5 degrees Celsius in Rangamati and Baghabari under the Rajshahi division. Meanwhile, today’s minimum temperature was 19.4 degrees Celsius in Rajarhat under the Rangpur division.
The bulletin further informed that the sun is expected to set at 6:06 pm today, while tomorrow’s sunrise is anticipated at 6:10 am in Dhaka.
