Bangladesh Marks International Anti-Corruption Day with Nationwide Initiatives

Dhaka: The International Anti-Corruption Day 2025 is being observed across Bangladesh today in accordance with the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC). The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has organized numerous programs to commemorate the day, with activities planned throughout districts and upazilas nationwide, as stated in a press release.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a discussion meeting was held at the National Theatre Auditorium of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy as part of the observance. Financial Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed graced the event as the chief guest, while Professor Dr. A. K. Enamul Haque, Director General of the Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies, participated as the special guest.



The International Anti-Corruption Day 2025 is recognized globally on December 9, with the theme “Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow’s Integrity.”
