Dhaka: Bangladesh Innovation Fair 2026 has invited registration from a wide range of innovators and organisations to participate in its exhibition, with the registration deadline set for August 30. Individuals, students and researchers, universities and institutions, corporates, industries and multinational companies, government agencies, INGOs and NGOs, SMEs and service providers, startups and idea incubators, and green entrepreneurs have been invited to register for participation in the exhibition.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the three-day fair, under the auspices of the Ministry of Science and Technology, will be held at Novo Theatre in Dhaka from September 12 to 14, 2026. A ministry release today stated that the fair will be formally inaugurated by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. Interested participants have been asked to register via the link www.innovationfairbd.org. The National Museum of Science and Technology authorities will implement the fair.
The fair will be organised under the theme 'Innovate to Market', aiming to bring innovators, industries, academics, and all relevant stakeholders under one roof to build an integrated innovation ecosystem and help Bangladesh move towards a trillion-dollar economy. The event will feature more than 150 innovation showcases, introducing innovative technologies from both young and experienced innovators.
More than 15 sessions and dialogues will also be held, which will include expert panel discussions on sector-specific issues. An innovation hub will serve as a centre for new ideas and technologies. Over 50 renowned local and international universities will participate in the fair, and more than 50 industry experts will attend, helping create a bridge between industry and academia.
Furthermore, more than 50 reputed organisations from the corporate, industrial, and commercial sectors will actively participate in the fair, further enhancing the collaborative spirit of the event.
