Bangladesh Bank instructs banks to send foreign investment reports quickly

The Bangladesh Bank instructed banks to send information on foreign investment quickly.

According to the rules, the foreign investment information was to be sent four times a year i.e. every three months within one month after the end of the prescribed quarter.

The deadline for sending information has been reduced to 10 days. From now on, the information regarding foreign investment is to be sent to the central bank within 20 days after ending of the quarter.

A circular in this regard is issued by the Statistics Department of Bangladesh Bank on Thursday (February 16).
