Doha: A historic agreement for the appointment on deputation of members of the armed forces between Bangladesh and Qatar was signed in Doha, marking a new milestone in defense cooperation between the two nations. The agreement was signed by Lieutenant General S M Kamrul Hassan of the Armed Forces Division of Bangladesh and Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces Lieutenant General (Pilot) Jassim bin Mohammed Al Mannai.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed the signing of the agreement through a press release. This agreement underscores a significant step in strengthening bilateral defense relations and reflects a mutual commitment to collaboration in military personnel exchanges.
