Bogura: The National Consumer Rights Protection Department imposed a fine of Tk 30,000 on a bakery for preparing food under unhygienic conditions and committing other malpractices, including providing incorrect information on products.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, a team from the department conducted an operation in the Baliadighi union under Gabtoli upazila and fined ‘Snigdha Bakery’ for multiple offenses. Assistant Director Md. Shamim Ahmed stated, “During the drive, we found various harmful practices while preparing food by Snigdha Bakery.”
