Bagerhat: Bagerhat Film Society today celebrated its 23rd founding anniversary. On the occasion, various programmes were arranged at A.C. Laha Town Hall of the town.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the programmes included a film festival and workshop, photography exhibitions, and film screenings. The event was presided over by the organization's president, Abdullah Boni, and conducted by its general secretary, Imran Kabir Romel.
Cultural personality Jotsna Debnath, actor Ali Mozej Ahmed, former Bagerhat District Jubo Dal general secretary and cultural activist Sujan Molla, Mujibur Rahman, Scout Secretary Shakir Hossain, and leaders of various cultural organizations were also present. Bagerhat Film Society began its journey in 2002 with the slogan 'Healthy Films, Healthy Society'.
