Dhaka: Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has commenced the operation of the "Retired Officers' Support Cell" and launched a web portal named "Retired Officers' Support Portal" for its retired officers. Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan graced the occasion as the chief guest and inaugurated the support cell and web portal, as stated in an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Air Secretary Branch has traditionally managed the human resources of both serving and retired officers. To provide more focused care, a dedicated cell has now been established to enhance accessibility and streamline processes for addressing the post-retirement needs of BAF's retired officers.

The "Retired Officers' Support Portal," developed and managed by the Bangladesh Air Force, aims to provide all post-retirement services. Retired officers will be able to access important information and manage all pension-related services by logging into this web portal from both home and abroad, eliminating the need for physical presence.

The proper use of this web portal is expected to save man-hours and significantly impact the morale of all BAF members. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Principal Staff Officers of the Air Headquarters, along with serving and retired senior officers.
