Dhaka: The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) today held the certificate award ceremony for the 67th Flying Instructors' Course at the Air Force Flying Instructors' School at Erulia Airfield in Bogura. Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Operations) Air Vice Marshal Rusad Din Asad attended the ceremony as the chief guest and distributed certificates among 16 BAF officers who successfully completed the course.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the event was marked by the chief guest's address, where he expressed the hope that the knowledge, professional skills, and experience acquired during the course would enable the graduates to train future generations of pilots. He emphasized the importance of developing competent aviators who are capable of safeguarding the country's sovereignty and airspace with dedication and professionalism.
The ceremony also recognized Squadron Leader Mirza Md Zubair Hossain, GD(P), as the best all-round trainee officer, awarding him the prestigious Mofiz Trophy. The recognition highlights the outstanding performance and commitment exhibited during the training.
Group Captain Muhammad Saiful Islam, Commanding Officer of the Flying Instructors' School, took the opportunity to highlight the training activities and courses conducted at the institution, underlining their significance in enhancing the capabilities of the Air Force.
The ceremony was attended by notable figures including the Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Bir Shrestha Matiur Rahman, the Commandant of the Air Force Training and Doctrine Command, as well as senior military and civilian officials and local dignitaries.
