Dhaka: The Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) and Aviation and Aerospace University Bangladesh (AAUB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in training, research, and development in the aviation and aerospace sector. Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan attended the MoU signing ceremony as the chief guest at the BAF Headquarters, according to a release from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the MoU outlines collaboration in drone and aerospace platform-based practical training, industrial training, on-the-job training, internship programs, and joint research and development activities. This partnership aims to achieve institutional goals through improved training coordination, strong research collaboration, and platform-based knowledge exchange.
The ISPR highlighted the importance of this cooperation in building indigenous capabilities in aviation and aerospace, contributing to national self-reliance and technological advancement. The event was attended by Principal Staff Officers (PSOs) of Air Headquarters, the Vice Chancellor of AAUB, BAF senior officers, members of UGC and various ministries, officials of AAUB, and representatives of other civil sectors.
