An avalanche emanating from the base of Dhaulagiri mountain at Thasang rural municipality-2 of Mustang blocked the Bokse rivulet on Friday afternoon. Boksekhola is an influent to the Kaligandaki River. Gautam Sherchan, Ward Chair of Thasang rural municipality-2, said that the water level in the Bokse rivulet decreased downstream due to avalanche blockade. "The avalanche occurred at 1:30 pm and piled up in the rivulet, blocking the water current," he added. District Administration Office, Mustang issued a public notice to adopt additional precaution on the bank of Boksekhola.
