Dhaka: Religious Affairs Adviser Dr AFM Khalid Hossain today stated that the authentic presentation of the Sirat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) will remain deeply rooted in the hearts of people. ‘The effort made by Masjid-utTaqwa Dhanmondi Society to present the Sirat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) through various events is unique,’ he said while addressing the concluding ceremony of Sirat Event-2025 organized by Masjid-utTaqwa society at the city’s Dhanmondi area.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the adviser emphasized that knowledge acquired through listening alone tends to be less permanent. However, when individuals both see and hear information, it is retained in the mind for a longer period. Dhanmondi’s Masjid-utTaqwa Society has creatively represented the residence, useful items, favorite foods, and places associated with memories of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) through symbolic arrangements.
He noted that the event would broaden public knowledge about the Sirat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), and people’s interest in learning about his Sirat is expected to increase further. The event was attended by notable figures like Khatib Saiful Islam, Dr MA Aziz, Hasan Shahid Siddiqui, and other Muslim devotees. The event was presided over by Masjid-utTaqwa President and Commerce Adviser Sheikh Bashir Uddin.
