Gazipur: The attachment order of 123 students of Syeda Zohra Tajuddin Nursing College in Kapasia, Gazipur, has been cancelled. These students have been instructed to join their respective workplaces, as per an official order issued by the Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Deputy Director (Education and Discipline) Momtaz Begum signed the office order. The order stated that a total of 123 students, including 62 from the Bachelor of Science in Post Basic Nursing course and 61 from the Bachelor of Science in Post Basic Public Health Nursing course for the 2022-23 academic year, were initially given a 2-year affiliation with Syeda Zohra Tajuddin Nursing College.
The order further mentioned that the final examination for the second year was completed on September 27. Consequently, a letter was sent to the directorate to cancel the attachment order and permit the students to join their main workplaces. The office order also directed all students to join their respective workplaces by October 19 after receiving discharge from the nursing college.
