ATM Azharul Islam Calls for Votes to Establish Justice in Bangladesh

Rangpur: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami-nominated MP candidate from Rangpur-2 constituency, ATM Azharul Islam, has urged constituents to vote on February 12 to foster a just Bangladesh. “We have seen many people in the last 54 years. Now, test us, and we will give you a Bangladesh of justice for all and free from discrimination, terrorism and extortion, Insha’Allah,” he declared.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Azharul Islam made this appeal while addressing an election rally organized by Radhanagar Union Jamaat-e-Islami at the field adjacent to Madarganj Bazar in Rangpur-2 constituency. The rally was chaired by Jamaat-e-Islami’s Radhanagar Union President, Mohammad Habibur Rahman.



During his speech, Azharul Islam, also a central Nayeb-e-Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices of the youth and students of the July Revolution. He urged the public to vote ‘Yes’ in the referendum, aiming to reshape parliamentary power and establish a welfare-oriented society free from fascism.



Azharul Islam called on voters to support Jamaat-e-Islami and the 11-party alliance candidates in the upcoming Jatiya Sangsad Elections, aiming for a clear majority. He vowed to utilize societal and state resources for public welfare and to establish justice.



The rally also featured speeches by Rangpur District Jamaat Shura Member Shah Mohammad Hannan Khan, Badarganj Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Moulana Muhammad Kamruzzaman Kabir, and Badarganj Upazila Nayeb-e Ameer Shah Muhammad Rustom, among others. Local leaders from Jamaat-e-Islami and the 11-party alliance were in attendance.
