Accra:The preliminary recruitment examination for the position of Assistant Upazila Youth Development Officer has been rescheduled for October 16 at 300 pm. This decision follows the previous postponement due to allegations of a question paper leak.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, A press release issued by DM Atikur Rahman, director of administration at the Department of Youth Development and convener of the recruitment committee, stated that candidates will be informed of the revised exam details via SMS.
Originally, the exam was set for 1100 am on a Saturday, but the emergence of the leak claims on social media prompted the government to delay the test to maintain administrative transparency.
To address these allegations, a five-member high-level investigation committee, led by an additional secretary from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has been established. This committee is tasked with submitting its report within three working days, and disciplinary action will be taken against those implicated in the leak following the investigation.
