Dhaka: LGRD and Co-operatives Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain today stated that it is not animals, but pride, jealousy, and injustice that should be sacrificed.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Asif shared his thoughts on his verified Facebook page, expressing that sacrifice should serve as a new expression of social change. Asif, who is also the Adviser of the Sports Ministry, emphasized that while the sacrifice of animals is a religious duty, supporting people is a human responsibility. He urged society to ensure that no one is deprived of the joy of Eid and to strive towards building a society characterized by equality and cooperation.
