Arrested in 24 hrs: 4 accused of murder case in the city

Within 24 hours of the case being filed, Police have arrested four people in connection to a murder in the city.

The arrestees are- Md. Ripon (19), Md. Khokon (21), Md. Mostafa (32) and Khuki (40).

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Deputy Commissioner (Motijheel) Md. A. Ahad said that the officers and force of Mugda Police station ran a raid and arrested the four accused from different areas of the city using technology.

According to the case statement, deceased Nasir (45) worked with the accused at the time of Eid-ul-Fitr as a butcher but his wages were not given. On the night of August 25, when Nasir went to ask for the money they raised a feud over the matter and hacked him at a point in front of Amir Miah’s house at 122 North Mugda.

Locals rescued seriously injured Nasir to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctors referred him to Mitford Hospital ICU. But the hospital had no ICU vacant so he was finally admitted to the ICU of Unihelp Specialized Hospital at Green road where he died Thursday at around 6 am while undergoing treatment.
