Teknaf:One army personnel was injured during a joint operation in Teknaf, Cox's Bazar, aimed at dismantling a human trafficking syndicate. The operation involved the Bangladesh Army, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), and police.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the incident occurred during an exchange of fire between the security forces and the syndicate members. As a result of the operation, three individuals were arrested and 57 people were rescued.
The information was released in a press statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate, highlighting the coordinated effort by the security forces to tackle human trafficking in the region.
