Army Distributes Over 1,000 Blankets to Needy in Rangpur

Rangpur: Like every year, this year too, the Bangladesh Army spread the warmth of winter clothes by distributing blankets to over 1,000 poor, needy, and floating people in Rangpur this morning. General Officer Commanding (GOC) of 66 Infantry Division and Rangpur Area Commander Major General Mohammad Kamrul Hasan handed over high-quality blankets to 1,055 beneficiaries on the Rangpur Uttam School and College premises in the city.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the initiative was organized by the 66th Infantry Division and saw attendance from several dignitaries, including 72nd Brigade Commander Brigadier General AKM Azam Chowdhury and Principal of Uttam School and College Mohammad Ali, along with other army officials. The event was not only a distribution of winter clothes, but also an occasion where the physically challenged received financial assistance.



The beneficiaries, after receiving the winter clothing and financial donations, expressed their sincere gratitude to the Bangladesh Army. The gesture of distributing winter essentials and providing monetary aid was highly appreciated, especially during the severe winter season.
