Army Chief Participates in Key Conference of Medical and Dental Corps

Ghatail: Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman today attended the Annual Commanders' Conference-2026 of the Army Medical Corps and Army Dental Corps at the Army Medical Corps Centre and School (AMCCandS) at Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment in Ghatail, Tangail.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during the conference, the Army Chief engaged in discussions with senior officers on a range of issues, including technological advancement, research, professional development, and future plans of the two corps. An ISPR press release highlighted these discussions as pivotal points on the agenda.

General Waker praised the Army Medical and Dental Corps for their significant contributions and activities in healthcare services. He emphasized their glorious traditions and professional excellence, recognizing their role in maintaining high standards.

The Army Chief expressed optimism about the continued dedication of the Army Medical Corps and Army Dental Corps to serve the people with integrity, sincerity, and a strong sense of duty. His remarks underscored the importance of these corps in the broader scope of military and public service.

The conference was attended by the Director General of the Directorate General of Medical Services, the Acting GOC of the Army Training and Doctrine Command, the Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army, the GOC of the 19 Infantry Division and Area Commander of Ghatail Area, along with senior military officers, commanders, and officers of the concerned corps, and members of different ranks.
