Army Chief of Bangladesh Travels to Saudi Arabia for Hajj

Dhaka: Chief of Army Staff of Bangladesh, General Waker-uz-Zaman, left Dhaka for Saudi Arabia on Friday along with his wife to perform the holy Hajj. He is visiting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a royal guest upon invitation from the Saudi government.



According to United News of Bangladesh, during the visit, the Army Chief will perform Hajj rituals in the holy cities of Mecca and Medina. He is scheduled to return to Bangladesh on June 1, 2026, after completing the Hajj pilgrimage.
