Faridpur: Chief of the Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman today formally inaugurated the Military Collegiate School Faridpur (MCSF) and Army Public School and College, Rajbari. A press release issued by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate said this evening.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Bangladesh Army, alongside safeguarding the country's peace, security, and sovereignty, has been making significant contributions to the development of the education sector. This includes human resource development and the creation of educated, skilled, and patriotic citizens by operating quality educational institutions since its inception.
As part of this initiative, the Military Collegiate School Faridpur (MCSF) has been established following the model of Military Collegiate School Khulna (MCSK). The aim is to develop ideal citizens imbued with knowledge, discipline, patriotism, leadership qualities, and humanitarian values.
At the same time, the Army Public School and College Rajbari has been established to provide modern, quality, and contemporary educational opportunities to students in the remote areas of Kalukhali upazila in Rajbari district. These two institutions are expected to play an important role in improving the overall quality of education in the region while ensuring a disciplined, safe, modern, and quality learning environment for local students.
The inauguration ceremonies were attended by the Adjutant General of the Bangladesh Army; General Officer Commanding, 55 Infantry Division and Area Commander, Jashore Area; senior military officers from Army Headquarters and the respective areas; military and civil officials at various levels; local dignitaries; teachers and students of the institutions; and other invited guests, the ISPR added.
