Armed forces war course trainees visit Police Headquarters

Trainee officers of the ongoing Armed Forces War Course (AFWC 2023) at the National Defense College (NDC), Mirpur Cantonment today visited Police Headquarters as part of their training.

NDC Chief Instructor Brigadier General Mamun Ur Rashid led the 12 faculty members and 56 trainee officers team.

During the visit, Brigadier General Mamun Ur Rashid paid a courtesy call on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun.

Later, a view exchange meeting was held at Hall of Pride of Police Headquarters between senior police officers and trainees with Additional IGP (HRM) Barrister Md Harun-or-Rashid in the chair.

In the meeting, the history, tradition, mission, vision, unique contribution of Bangladesh Police in the Great War of Liberation, internal security and law and order maintenance activities of the country, glorious role in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in the international environment were highlighted through video presentation.

The trainees also expressed their gratitude to the IGP for extending cooperation.
