Dhaka: Archbishop Kevin S. Randall, the Apostolic Nuncio (Ambassador of the Holy See), met with Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna. During their meeting, Archbishop Randall extended an invitation to Professor Yunus for an inter-religious dialogue programme set to take place from September 6 to 12.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Archbishop highlighted the programme’s dual approach, aiming for both academic and practical dialogue to engage a wide audience. He stated that the core objective is to “promote the culture of tolerance, harmony and friendship.”
In addition to the inter-religious dialogue, Archbishop Randall invited Chief Adviser Yunus to visit Rome in September to attend an event hosted by the Fratelli tutti foundation. Professor Yunus expressed his gratitude for the invitations, acknowledging the significance of the events by stating, “It’s a big event. I wish you all the best.” He also extended his well wishes to the new Pope.
