Rangpur: Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Party (Ansar-VDP) has unveiled significant employment opportunities by providing timely training to develop disciplined and skilled human resources, entrepreneurs, and avenues for self-employment. Deputy Director General of Ansar-VDP’s Rangpur Range, Mohammad Abdul Awal, highlighted this initiative at the closing ceremony of the 14-day Upazila/Thana Ansar Basic Training (7th Phase) course, where he served as the chief guest.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the training course, which took place at the Mahiganj Ansar-VDP Training Center in Rangpur city, saw the participation of 134 young educated Ansar members. The event was presided over by Rangpur District Commandant Rashedul Islam, with Sadar Upazila Trainer Md Moniruzzaman also addressing the attendees.
During the ceremony, the Deputy Director General emphasized the continuous efforts by the higher authorities of the Ansar-VDP force to enhance the professional skills of its members and establish the force in a dignified and strong position. He expressed gratitude to the authorities for launching these innovative technical, vocational, and self-employment training programs aimed at creating skilled human resources across the country.
He motivated the trainees to leverage their basic Ansar training knowledge to change their destinies and contribute to the country’s development. Furthermore, he underscored the critical role the trained Ansar members are expected to play in the upcoming 13th Jatiya Sangsad elections by ensuring a fair and peaceful election process at polling stations.
Concluding the ceremony, the chief guest led the basic trainees in reciting the oath of allegiance to the country, and awarded crests to the best trainees along with training certificates to all participants.
