Dhaka:The ousted Awami League regime's law minister Anisul Huq, state minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, and Inspector General of Police during the July Uprising Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun were taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for primary health checkups on Wednesday.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the trio was brought to the DMCH emergency department around 300 pm under the supervision of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) with assistance from the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).
CID Police Inspector Ridwanul Huq stated that the three individuals, who are currently in custody over charges related to crimes against humanity stemming from the July mass uprising, were taken back after completing their health checkups. However, he did not specify whether they were returned to prison or taken to CID custody.
