Jessore: State Minister for Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources Anindya Islam Amit has called on civil servants to carry out their responsibilities with professionalism and competence. He emphasized that the true identity of a civil servant lies in their efficiency and performance, rather than political affiliations. Anindya Islam highlighted the importance of impartiality and responsibility in meeting public expectations and needs.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Anindya Islam delivered these remarks as the chief guest at an exchange meeting with the heads of various government offices. The gathering took place at the Jessore Deputy Commissioner's Conference Hall, where he urged officials to study the BNP's election manifesto closely. He described it as more than a mere pledge, but as a social contract with the people that the government must honor.
The state minister underscored that, since the government is formed by public mandate, fulfilling this social contract has become a state commitment. Anindya Islam called on relevant departments to align their activities with the manifesto's priority areas to ensure effective implementation.
The meeting saw attendance from representatives of various government offices, with Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Ashiq Hassan presiding over the session.
