Amputee Football League Set to Launch as Part of Disability Day Celebrations

Dhaka: The first ever Amputee Football League is scheduled to commence tomorrow, marking a significant event in the celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the two-day event will be organized with the support of Sports for Hope Independence (SHI) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The league will feature participation from four boys' teams and two girls' teams.

All matches are set to take place at the Disabled Sports Ground located at Asad Gate, adjacent to the Parliament Building in the capital. The tournament will kick off with knockout group stage matches on the first day, leading up to the final match, which is planned for Tuesday, December 2, following the knockout rounds.
