Chattogram: BNP Standing Committee Member and former minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury extended greetings to the devotees of the Hindu community at JM Sen Hall in the city last night. The event was organized by the Chattogram Mohanagar Puja Udjapan Parishad to mark Sharadiya Durga Puja, the largest festival of the Bangalee Hindu Community.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Amir Khasru was joined by several prominent figures, including BNP Chattogram city unit convener Ershad Ullah, former general secretary Abul Hashem Bakkar, and member secretary Nazimur Rahman Nazim. Also in attendance were Sri Sri Janmashtami Udjapan Parishad Bangladesh Central Committee Executive General Secretary Biplob De Partha and Bangladesh Hindu Bouddha Christian Kallyan Front Organizing Secretary Rajib Dhar Tamal.
Private Prison Inspector Amirajjal Baran Biswas, Chattogram City Puja Udjapaan Parishad Acting President Professor Arpan Kanti Banerjee, and Acting General Secretary Advocate Nikhil Kumar Nath were also present at the event. The gathering emphasized the spirit of unity and harmony among different communities in the region.
