Dhaka: State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque left here for Turkey this morning to attend the inaugural ceremony of the ‘Konya OIC Youth Capital 2026’ in Konya, Turkey, and to participate in several bilateral meetings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during his visit, the State Minister plans to engage in a bilateral meeting with the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports. The discussions are expected to focus on youth development, the construction of sports infrastructure, and training exchange programs between Bangladesh and Turkey.
Additionally, Aminul will meet with officials from the Turkish Football Federation to enhance sports diplomacy. This meeting aims to explore Turkey’s experience and technical assistance in advancing football in Bangladesh.
Further, the State Minister will meet with the President of the World Ethnosport Union. He also has a scheduled courtesy call with representatives from Turkey’s ruling party.
Aminul is expected to return to Bangladesh on May 14.
