Dhaka: Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, is set to depart Dhaka for Saudi Arabia on Wednesday to perform the holy Hajj.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the information was confirmed by Jamaat’s Senior Assistant Secretary of the Central Publicity Department, Mujibul Alam. The Jamaat chief is scheduled to return to the country on June 1 after completing the Hajj pilgrimage.
