The 75th founding anniversary of Awami League was celebrated through different programmes in Vienna, Austria on Sunday. A discussion was held in a convention hall in Vienna marking the anniversary. Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali joined the programme as the chief guest while State Minister for Finance Waseqa Ayesha Khan, All European AL President and Austria expatriate human rights activist and writer M Nazrul Islam also attended it as special guests. Bangladesh Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the UN Offices and Other International Organizations in Vienna Asad Alam Siam, Pabna Zila Parishad chairman Abdur Rahim Pakon, Austria Bangabandhu Parishad President Rabin Mohammad Ali, Austria Awami League Vice-President Ruhi Das Saha and its Organizing Secretary Nayon Hossain also spoke.
