Dhaka: Islamic Foundation (IF) today issued a notification asking all mosques’ authorities across the country to offer the Zuma (Friday) prayers simultaneously at 1.30pm.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the notification highlighted that Zuma prayers are currently offered at varying times in different mosques. This inconsistency often results in confusion and difficulties for worshippers, especially travelers, in attending the Friday prayers.
The notification emphasized the need to resolve this issue for the convenience of worshippers nationwide. As a result, the Islamic Foundation has called for the simultaneous offering of Zuma prayers at 1.30pm in all mosques across the country.
Additionally, the notification stated that directors and deputy directors of the Islamic Foundation have been instructed to take necessary measures to ensure that Zuma prayers are held at 1.30pm in all mosques within their respective divisions or districts.
