Dhaka: Chief Adviser's Special Assistant Professor Ali Riaz today clarified that he does not know the woman named Atandrranu Ripa, who is circulating 'false, fabricated and baseless' allegations against him.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Prof Riaz stated that he has no acquaintance with the woman making these allegations. The statement released by the Chief Adviser's Press Wing emphasized that any claims of communication or relationship between Ali Riaz and Atandrranu Ripa are completely unfounded.

Prof Riaz expressed concerns that these 'false statements are being spread in a motivated manner' and urged those involved to stop the dissemination immediately. He warned that if the circulation of these defamatory and character-assassinating attempts continues, legal action will be pursued.

The statement also mentioned that the government is keeping a close watch on the spread of 'false, fabricated and baseless video statements' by Atandrranu Ripa on social media since Tuesday. It described the situation as an attempt to 'malign Prof Riaz's character' and indicated that the government is contemplating appropriate measures to address the issue.
