Natore: Police have arrested former Singra municipality councillor and Organising Secretary of the Singra Poura Awami League, Mizanur Rahman Mizan, during a special drive from the Damdama Sluice Gate area under Singra municipality of the district. Police said that Awami League leader Mizan had been planning acts of sabotage by organising leaders and activists of the banned Awami League through online meetings.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Singra Police Station Rafiqul Islam said a sabotage case was filed against him. He was sent to court this afternoon.
