Air Vice Marshal Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq Appointed as New CAAB Chairman

Dhaka: Air Vice Marshal Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq has been appointed as the new chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB). The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification to confirm this appointment.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Mostafa Mahmud Siddiq will be taking over from Air Vice Marshal Manjur Kabir Bhuiyan, who was transferred from the position on June 26. CAAB, operating under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism, is tasked with regulating and overseeing all civil aviation activities within the country. This includes managing airport operations, air traffic control, and ensuring aviation safety and security.
