Dhaka: Chief of Air Staff of the Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan today departed for Turkey on a six-day official visit.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the visit comes at the invitation of the Turkish Air Force Commander, as stated in a release by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate. During his stay, the BAF Chief will engage in discussions and exchange views with the Turkish Air Force Commander, the Secretary of Turkish Defense Industries, and other prominent military and civil officials on topics of mutual interest.
In addition to these discussions, the air chief is scheduled to visit Turkish Aerospace Industries along with other public and private military equipment manufacturing institutions. This visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and explore avenues for collaboration in the defense sector.
The BAF chief is expected to conclude his visit and return to Dhaka on October 6, as per the ISPR.
