Air Chief Marshal of Bangladesh Air Force Embarks on Official Visit to USA

Dhaka: Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan departed from Dhaka to the United States of America (USA) on Saturday. ‘Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force left Dhaka on Saturday and will visit USA from March 17-18. He will return home on March 21,’ stated a release from the Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) this evening.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, during his official visit, Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan will engage in discussions on the activities of Bangladesh Air Force units involved in peacekeeping missions. The discussions aim to enhance coordination and cooperation between the Bangladesh Air Force and the United Nations. The Air Chief is also scheduled to meet with high-ranking officials at the United Nations Headquarters to explore ways to increase the BAF’s contributions to the UN in the future.



The visit is expected to play a significant role in strengthening the bilateral relationship between Bangladesh and the United Nations. It will also enhance mutual cooperation in professional sectors, further solidifying the ties between the Bangladesh Air Force and international peacekeeping efforts.
