Africa-Bangladesh Business Summit Set to Strengthen Economic Ties in Addis Ababa

Addis ababa: The first ‘Africa Bangladesh Trade Show and Business Summit 2025’ is set to take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, on November 12 and 13, 2025. This important initiative is being jointly organized by the Embassy of Bangladesh in Ethiopia and the Africa Bangladesh Business Forum.



According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the summit’s core strategic objective is to bring together leading Bangladeshi exporters and African businesses with the goal of strengthening economic ties. Organizers aim to enhance bilateral trade, investment, and partnership opportunities between the two regions.



This inaugural forum is being highlighted as a crucial step to inform businesses, institutions, and the wider public about this emerging Bangladesh-Africa trade opportunity. The summit will feature participation from a diverse array of key economic sectors, signaling a broad commitment to industrial collaboration.



These sectors include garments and textiles, jute products, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, IT or software and technology, agriculture, trading and general commerce, freight forwarding and logistics, as well as manufacturing, specifically focusing on plastic toys manufacturing and export, and insecticides or pesticides or disinfectants manufacturing.
