Natore: Livestock department today launched a special campaign of selling milk and egg in an affordable price.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the Poultry and Dairy Association initiated this month-long campaign with the support of the Natore Livestock department. The campaign sets the price of a dozen eggs at TK. 112 and milk at TK. 70 per liter, with sales occurring from 10 am to 12 pm on every working day.
Dr. Zulfikar Mohammad Akhter Hossem, the livestock officer of Natore district, inaugurated the campaign this morning at the office. He mentioned that this initiative aims to provide relief to low-income individuals over the month.
Nesar Ahmed Jishan, the convener of the poultry association, stated that they are able to offer these reduced prices by forgoing profits, with significant assistance from Jishan Poultry Hatchery.
