ADP implementation rate notches 1.05% in first month of FY25

The implementation rate of the Annual Development

Programme (ADP) during the first month (July) of the current fiscal year

(FY25) reached 1.05 percent with an expenditure of Taka 2,922.36 crore.

According to the latest report of the Implementation Monitoring and

Evaluation Division (IMED), the ADP implementation rate in July of the last

fiscal year (FY24) was 1.27 percent with an overall allocation of Taka

3,489.09 crore.

The ADP implementation rate in the first month (July) of FY23 was 0.96

percent with an expenditure of Taka 2,455.05 crore.

The ADP implementation rate usually remains low at the beginning of the

fiscal year as project officials remain busy with necessary preparatory work

and paper work during this period, said IMED officials.

The government’s overall ADP allocation for the current fiscal year is Taka

278,288.90 crore.

In the current fiscal year, there are some 1,352 development projects

including 1,155 investment projects, 21 feasibility study projects, 87

technical assistanc
e projects, 9 projects from development block allocation

and 80 projects from concerned organizations own fund.
