Netrokona: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) will organize its 183rd public hearing tomorrow at the Public Hall in Netrokona district. The event is aimed at raising public awareness, improving service delivery in government and autonomous institutions, preventing harassment of service recipients, and combating corruption.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, ACC Commissioner (Investigation) Miah Mohammad Ali Akbar Azizi is expected to attend the event as the chief guest, while Director General (Prevention) Md Akhter Hossain will be present as the special guest. During the public hearing, aggrieved citizens who have faced harassment or been denied services by various government offices will have the opportunity to present their complaints directly to the heads of all government departments in Netrokona in front of the Commission.

The Anti-Corruption Commission has committed to taking immediate action on complaints raised during the hearing to ensure public access to government services and promote integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct among officials. To encourage active public participation, the ACC has carried out a week-long awareness campaign across Netrokona. This campaign included loudspeaker announcements, poster and leaflet distribution, setting up information booths, collecting complaints, and engaging through various media platforms.
