Joypurhat:State Minister for Public Administration and Food, Abdul Bari, emphasized the importance of maintaining a clean environment to effectively prevent the spread of dengue, alongside the eradication of mosquitoes.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, Abdul Bari highlighted the necessity of enhancing surveillance and sustaining preventive activities to manage dengue infections. He stressed the importance of conducting cleanliness drives and public awareness programs in targeted areas to eliminate Aedes mosquito larvae.
Speaking as the chief guest at a cleanliness initiative organized by the Kalai Municipality of Joypurhat, the state minister called for the involvement of various social organizations, such as Chhatra Dal, Jubo Dal, BD Clean, and Scouts, in a joint effort to clean municipal areas and control the dengue infection.
