Aaha-Rara Pokhara Gold Cup: Church Boys and NAC clash for a spot in the final

Kaski: Church Boys United and Tribhuvan Army Club are playing for a place in the final match of Aaha-Rara Pokhara Gold Cup football tournament underway in Pokhara.

The second semi-final match of the tournament is being held at Pokhara Stadium this afternoon. The winner will enter the final to face Three Star Club that beat Jawalakhel Youth Club 1-0 in the first semi-final at the same venue on Wednesday.

The final is being held on February 3, according to the organizers, Sahara Club Pokhara.

The winner of the tournament will walk home with the gold cup, including a cash prize of Rs.1.2 million. The runner-up team will be awarded a trophy with Rs.601,000.

Similarly, the best footballers in five different categories will be awarded at the rate of Rs. 25,000 each. Likewise, the best player of the tournament will win a scooter.

A total twelve teams including one team from Bhutan competed in the tournament held annually.
