The deceased was identified as Imam Mehedi, 18, a resident of Churain village.
Local people said the incident occurred this noon when Imam Mehedi was setting up solar energy in the Churain area. He was taken to Munshiganj General Hospital where the duty doctor declared him dead.
In-charge of Hatimara police camp Amar Chandra Das said the body was handed over to the deceased family.
