Barcelona:Brazil forward Raphinha has signed a new contract with Barcelona, ensuring his stay at the Spanish club until 2030.
According to United News of Bangladesh, the club announced the extension on Thursday, which extends the 29-year-old's previous contract that was set to expire in 2028.
Raphinha has proven himself as a world-class player since joining Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022. He has contributed significantly to the team's success, helping them secure three Spanish league titles, including the last two seasons, while creating a formidable attacking duo with Lamine Yamal.
This season, Raphinha has been particularly impressive after transitioning to a striker's role. He has netted 19 goals in 13 matches across all competitions, with 15 of those goals coming in La Liga, making him the league's top scorer.
