Dammam:Dhaka Biman Bangladesh Airlines will restart its regular flights on the Dhaka-Dammam-Dhaka route beginning November 7. Meanwhile, the airline's services on the Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka route will continue to be suspended until further notice due to recent airstrikes in Saudi Arabia.

According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the national flag carrier announced these changes in a press release, citing passenger safety and the current security situation in Saudi Arabia as reasons for the adjusted flight schedules.

Flights on the Dammam route will be conducted during daytime hours as a precaution to ensure passenger safety and security. However, the airline has stated that the suspension of flights between Dhaka and Riyadh will persist until new instructions are provided.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines emphasized that the adjustments to its Saudi Arabia-bound flight schedules are necessary in light of the recent airstrikes and the overall security situation. The airline has advised passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia to get in touch with their nearest Biman sales centre for updated flight schedules, ticketing arrangements, and other travel-related information.
