Dhaka:The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has directed its officials to expedite the promotion process for assistant teachers to head teachers in government primary schools.
According to Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha, the DPE has requested updated information from district primary education officers nationwide regarding the publication of upazila-wise draft gradation lists and the handling of complaints. An official handout, signed by Irin Parveen, Assistant Director of the DPE's Policy and Operations Division, was issued today in this regard.

It also directed the officials to resolve all remaining complaints within the next seven working days.
Additionally, officials are required to send the complete gradation lists, along with relevant documents, to the DPE through the divisional deputy directors within the following 15 working days. The letter emphasized that the information is being sought to accelerate all activities related to the promotion process.
